About LilyBella

I’m twenty-two years old and a former real person fan fiction writer (boy bands and it was het, too *hangs head in shame*). I’m a complete internet fanatic with terrible social anxiety and an obsession with Harry Potter. I read a lot of fan fiction, mainly slash, and I don’t think I’ve ever read a story without Harry as prominent character (aside from the rare Marauder fic), nor do I want to. I am a shipper, Harry/Sirius being my very first OTP, but I moved onto Harry/Draco in early ‘05 after all the good Sirry writers started to disappear from our little corner in the fandom.

If things start going slow in the HP fandom I’ll read the occasional Star Wars story (Ani/Obi and Ani/Padmé only), Star Wars RPS fic (Ewan/Hayden, only) or Pop!Slash fic (NSYNC, Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera, etc. I’m still a teenybopper at heart).

If you read this journal, you’ll likely find some story recs, a few rants, a couple of wallpapers, and a lot of talk about stories I’m working on, but will probably never get around to actually writing. I have an awful case of writers’ block (it’s been four years! *cries*).

ETA 8/9/07: In light of all the recent drama with LJ, I’ve decided to post a little announcement both here and in a public post in my LJ, stating that this journal is still in use, but most entries now deal with my real life issues and are set to ‘private’. I do still use this journal for all my fandom needs though so if I friend you or your community, I’d really appreciate it if you’d friend me back. I am over 18 and I am still involved with fandom (reading fanfiction and fandom news) even if you can’t tell that from my looking through my journal.

Sex God!Draco/Innocent!Harry, Slut!Slytherins, Leather Pants!Draco, Draco/Ron, Draco/Neville, Draco/Ginny, Draco/Anyone but Harry and occasionally Pansy, Harry/Ginny, Ginny Weasley, Ron Weasley, Molly Weasley, ‘the Harry filter’ as an excuse for plot holes and/or bad characterization, Hogwarts Houses, Racism, Homophobia, Animal Abuse, People who go out of their way to be asses or act like asses because they think it’s cool, because you know, it’s really not. Also, people who preach about their lifestyle choices in their fics. It's cool if you're into BDSM, wicca, vegetarianism, or are a big supporter of animal rights, abortion rights, religious rights, or if you love pepper jack cheese, but I don't read fan fic to read preaching about any thing, whether or not I support that issue, like the same thing, whatever. Preaching is preaching and fan fic is not the place for it. It's annoying when people insert OC's to do the preaching and it's even more annoying when people change around established characters to do the preaching. If you want to change the world, do it in real life, not fanfic, which is supposed to be fun.
